My family has brought our pets to this veterinary hospital for 40 years, and have always been treated with the greatest care, kindness and thoroughness no matter how minor the illness. Dr. Dawn Byrne continues this great tradition in recent years, taking wonderful care of my current dog with gentleness and understanding, no matter how nutty he behaves. And for all this, their services are reasonable and there is no up-selling. They are the best!
Dr.Domotor’s office is the best. We’ve been taking our dogs there for years. Recently had our little 13 year old Maltipoohs teeth cleaned (which scares me with being under anesthesia). She did great. The staff is always polite and helpful as well.
BEWARE🚩 THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR PET. All they care about is RIPPING YOU OFF. This is not our first visit to this clinic. Unfortunately, all the good clinics require an appointment, and we had an emergency. All we wanted to do was a test for bacteria or fungus in our dog. We determined with the doctor (if her competence allows us to call her that) that it was not an allergy and decided to do an additional test. After that, they gave us a bill where they wanted to give an anti-allergy shot for about $250. When asked why give a shot if the dog doesn't have an allergy and we are doing a test to find out what it is, they responded, 'Okay, we'll remove it from the bill.' Then, they prescribed medication for both bacterial and fungal dermatitis. Why couldn’t they tell us upfront that they have a medication for both and skip the $100 test? That’s okay, I don’t mind paying for my dog, but they didn’t even provide any proof that they actually did this test. Right after that, they sold the medications at 2.5 times the price on Amazon. And you can’t return it, even if it’s unopened. PLEASE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS.
Excellent care. I often called with questions regarding my dog who has a back issue and a heart murur. The staff always answered my questions and if they did not know the answer right away, they followed up later in the day. Everyone from the techs, office staff to vets truly care about animals.
Vet tech's injured my 9 lb chihuahua during a nail trim! we are long time customer of 10 years, came in for annual vaxes and nail trim. I left with my dog's hip joint dislocated and had to take her immediately to orthopedic specialist for surgery--$8000+. Both drs on staff --Byrnes and Mc Grew called it a freak accident, yet didn't witness it. They both recommended to take my dog to a specialist immediately. Animal House would not cover the surgery, not take responsibility for the condition of my pet that occurred while they handled her. They WOULD NOT SHARE VIDEO CAMERA feed they claimed to have studied. This should not happen and of course any vet practice has insurance to cover even something they deem as an accident. For the record I paid my bill upon leaving that day. Really sad and mad about this. Animal House is unethical, unprofessional and immoral. In short, they don't care and were heartless. They are now owned by a big Texas national corporation so aren't motivated to do the right thing.
