Dr. Burns and the staff at Dr Damotor’s Animal Hospital were compassionate , kind and thorough with the two new senior cats we adopted. The technician who helped us was extra nice and caring towards our cats. This helped calm them down as they were a little nervous since they were recently adopted. The tech thoroughly demonstrated and explained a bandage that we had to put on one of our cat’s tail following surgery. I’ve been seeing Dr. Burns for years for other cats we had. Not only is she pleasant and intelligent, she is extremely knowledgeable, detailed and experienced. I really value her thoroughness. Her bedside manner is wonderful. She was very caring towards our cats and was also very nice and detailed in her explanations to us. She was very patient and willing to answer all questions. Again, I really value her details and her thoroughness and experience. I trust her. Overall, all of the staff at Dr Damotor’s Animal hospital are experienced, helpful, and compassionate.
I adopted a dog last summer and was told by Dr Hurtado to wait until after Darla's first heat to spay her as it was better for their long-term well being. We just had the surgery 2 wks ago and Darla got the 'cone of shame' but never had to wear it. WHY? The surgical site was miniscule and she barely noticed she had surgery. She healed so quickly and so well that she was back to her old self 1 day later. I have to thank Dr Hurtado's expertise and amazing surgical skills, as well as the supporting staff, for my fur baby's uneventful surgery. I am a health care professional as well so I recognize excellence in this arena when I see it.
My family has brought our pets to this veterinary hospital for 40 years, and have always been treated with the greatest care, kindness and thoroughness no matter how minor the illness. Dr. Dawn Byrne continues this great tradition in recent years, taking wonderful care of my current dog with gentleness and understanding, no matter how nutty he behaves. And for all this, their services are reasonable and there is no up-selling. They are the best!
These vets are really thorough and kind. My 5 month old kitten was super sick hadn’t eaten in 3 days and they helped to revive him, he started eating shortly after his 5 hour hospitalization. It was a bit pricey but it was worth it to save my baby boy.
Dr. Hurtado and staff were amazing. Thanks for taking care of us while in the office. I enjoyed learning so much about Furby's adult needs, health and appreciate the follow up calls for results.
