Great work, they know what they are doing with Lucas dynamos. Communication was good, Mike called me to make sure he had all the information before diving in. Also quick turnaround which is hard to find these days with anyone who works on classics.

The owner Mike does not know what he is doing. He insisted on the fact that there was nothing wrong with my car when I needed a new alternator and refused to repair. When my car car broke down minutes later again, I called back asking if he could fix it and he told me to take my car to a real mechanic.
EDIT- If this guy put more effort into running diagnostics and repairing cars like he does responding to Google reviews he'd get a better review 😂

This shop is the real deal! It was a pleasure to be there. I had a new battery installed when it didn't start after an oil change and called AAA to replace it, as the one I had was still under an extended warranty. After turning the ignition switch, the car died - no power. I took my car to a dealer but they were short on staff due to COVID, and didn't appear to have the knowledge on-site to quickly diagnose the problem. After several days with no answers, they were cool with me taking my car to the experts. Mike tested the battery while I was there and said he would follow up this afternoon, and he did. He and his coworker diagnosed the issue within two hours, and the cost to repair is reasonable. He apologized that he couldn't complete the job today but I just got it there mid-afternoon, so totally understandable. I should have taken it to the exeprts in the first place!

Mike did a great job fixing up the A/C on my 2014 Mustang. Feels like new! Did more work in a shorter time, charging less than Ford would have. Glad I found a local shop with an old school pro. Thanks!

A while ago I had a 1990 F250 that would not turn on, ignition key lock problems. These guys disassembled the steering wheel parts deep down inside and replaced the parts needed, a very specialized job. I appreciated the work but never thanked them on the internet. Feeling guilty. Now I have a Chinese diesel motor running a 3 phase generator with a bad starter. Feeling iffy about about asking them about a such an oddball starter/solenoid, not an off the shelf thing. I will give them a call and remind them of this post. Wish me luck. Starter wont throw and turn flywheel, tried several different batteries.
